Carolyn Vasquez, DVM

Dr. Carolyn Vasquez is a 2018 graduate of Ross University and completed her clinical year at Tufts University. She was raised in the Dominican Republic and moved to New York City when she was 15. She attended Hobart and William Smith colleges, a small liberal art school, where she received her degree in Biology.  Throughout her undergrad years she shadowed many Veterinarians and during her summers she would travel to the Dominican Republic to visit family and to also shadow/volunteer in different animal practices. She also spent a winter break in Costa Rica with a program named VIDA designed to help impoverished communities with low cost spay/neuters.
Dr. Vasquez interests include shelter medicine, emergency and surgery. For fun she loves to travel, eat, be adventurous, play volleyball, and spend time with her family and island dog Paisley.
